About us

A gospel-centered community

We are a Bible Christian church in Tunjuelito, Bogotá, devoted to the expository preaching of the Bible, to genuine discipleship and to the spiritual growth of families.

What defines us

Three commitments you will see in every gathering, every message and every conversation.

Christ at the center

We preach Christ: His life, His death on the cross and His resurrection. Everything else revolves around Him.

The Bible open

We believe in the sufficiency of Scripture. That is why we study it seriously, book by book and chapter by chapter.

Families that grow

We walk with every family in their spiritual growth, through genuine discipleship and worship in spirit and in truth.

Our statement of faith

A summary of the biblical truths we confess and teach.

1

The Scriptures

We believe that the Bible, in its 66 books, is the inspired, inerrant and sufficient Word of God: our only rule of faith and practice.

2

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, sovereign over all creation and over salvation.

3

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is God made man: born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross in the place of sinners and rose bodily on the third day.

4

Sin

We believe that every human being has sinned and is separated from God, unable to save himself by his own works.

5

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone: a gift of God that produces repentance and a new life.

6

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates the believer, dwells in him and enables him to live in holiness.

7

The church

We believe that the local church is the family of God, gathered to worship, to hear the preaching of the Word, to pray, to serve and to make disciples.

8

The return of Christ

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the resurrection of the dead and in the final judgment.

Our pastor

Pastor Maikol Cabrera

Maikol serves this congregation by preaching the Word of God with conviction and walking with families in their spiritual growth.

Every week he opens the Bible and explains it clearly, so that the church may know Christ and live for His glory. You can listen to his messages on our channel and, better still, meet him in person on a Sunday.

Your first visit

We know that walking into a new church raises questions. Here are the essentials.

Come without registering

There is no sign-up and no need to let us know. You can arrive at 9:30 AM for the prayer time, or at 10:00 AM for the Sunday service.

Look for the blue doors

We are at Diagonal 51B sur #18-73, right next to the Registraduría de Tunjuelito. Our entrance is easy to recognize.

Bring your Bible and say hello

We preach verse by verse, so following along will help. Afterwards, come over and introduce yourself: we would love to meet you.

Come and meet us

This Sunday there is a place for you and your family. Just come, and let us welcome you.
